Jaimon Lidsey last Saturday night secured his third Under 21 Australian Speedway Championship title in a stunning display, at Victoria’s Undera Speedway.
In the Final Lidsey passed Zach Cook out of turn two and managed to stretch his lead each lap before crossing the finish line to loud applause from the local Undera crowd.
Zach Cook was never really pressured for second with Jedd List and in third and Matthew Gilmore taking our fourth.
Lidsey’s win capped off a solid summer performance after he placed fifth in the Australian Senior Solo Speedway Championships, and now looks forward to the European summer to take on the worlds best.
