Mildura is set to host another pulsating Australian Speedway Sidecar Championship on April 24-25, which will also feature the return of the junior category for the first time since 2022.
The qualifying meeting for the seniors will be held at the famed Olympic Park complex on April 24, with the top seven teams from that battle to join the nine seeded teams in the April 25 championship decider.
The seeded teams include the four finalists from the 2025 championship in Bowen – Mark Plaisted/Ben Pitt, Trent Headland/Jaxon Rayner, Tyler Moon/Adam Lovell and Justin Plaisted/Brian Anthony – which just about guarantees another blockbuster event. Plaisted and Pitt were victorious when the Australian Speedway Sidecar Championship last visited Mildura in 2023.
