The 2026 Australian Speedway Championship will be held over four rounds between January 3 and 9, starting with a blockbuster double-header in Wodonga before travelling to Mildura and Gillman.

The superstars of speedway will kickstart their campaign with two days of spectacular action in Wodonga on the weekend of January 3-4, before leaving the NSW-Vic border and heading to Mildura (Vic) on January 7 and the finale in Gillman (SA) on January 9.

Memories are still fresh from an epic 2025 decider in Wodonga, with current Speedway Grand Prix (SGP) man of the moment Brady Kurtz making it multiple Australian championships after finishing ahead of Jack Holder, Chris Holder and Keynan Rew.

The line-up for the 2026 Australian Speedway Championship will be announced later this year, with the field again expected to be star-studded affair with Aussie riders from the SGP, the highest levels of British and European speedway leagues, and the U21 ranks.
